Cold Spring Harbor Flowers is a full service floral boutique located on Long Island’s North Shore. We specialize in natural garden inspired floral designs from every day arrangements to specialty events, as well as intimate workshops and easily transported flower bars to your unique location.
Cindy and her team frequent local farms and markets and are committed to offering a very detailed, personalized approach to provide all of your floral needs.

Our Philosophy
Cold Spring Harbor Flowers chooses a color palette each week for our retail shop. These flowers are carefully sourced for unusual varieties and the freshest blooms. The images provided offer an overall feel and mood for our design esthetic.
Meet the Florist
Cindy Shelley
Head Florist, Owner
Cindy started gardening with her grandmother at the age of five and learned the fine art of pinching snapdragons. She learned about color and texture from her mother who was an artist and wedding gown designer. Determined to express her own artistic voice she enrolled in floral design instruction at the prestigious FlowerSchool New York. After completing the advanced design series and two study-abroad programs in Holland, Belgium and France her love for floral design expanded as she began to freelance for several flower shops in the heart of Long Island’s Gold Coast.
Once again, eager to learn more about the beauty of flowers and the delight of helping others share their passion for floral design, she started offering floral design classes at a popular wine and cheese shop in Locust Valley, Curds and Whey, This eventually led to owning and operating her own studio in the heart of Cold Spring Harbor, New York. You can usually find her in the early morning hours hiking with her beloved Golden Retriever, always in pursuit of nature’s beauty.
